A parenthetical statement…yet so precious to me this Christmas. When my heart aches because those I love are physically or emotionally distant…or have even passed away…I can find encouragement in the fact that God loves us so much that he wanted nothing to stand between us. Christmas is all about God *with* us…God with *me* and God with *you*. He tells us he will never leave us or forsake us. Thank you, Lord!
